Woodland Tool Box

The Woodland tool box is lined in a green plaid that compliments the stitching designs of the Needlebook and Cube scissor Fob with tassel. We will construct the inside of the box in class while stitching on our accessories that are stitched on 32 count linen with over dyed threads. Stitches include Cross Stitch, Cross stitch over one, Smyrna Stitch, Queen Stitch, Backstitch, and Satin Stitch creating tiny little flowers. Limited Box colors: Burgundy, Black and Mustard all will give from the classic to primitive look with the elegance of the inside and accessories.
Kit includes: Box, lining material, templates, batting, needle and threads, linen, tassel, ribbon and complete color finishing instructions.
You Reap What You Sow

Stitch this fun acorn into a mighty oak leaf. We will stitch on Weeks Dye Work’s yummy, Guacamole, overdyed linen. It’s 20 ct. fabric and we will stitch over 2 threads. If you have never tried over 2, it’s easy and I’ll walk you through it in class. The 20 ct. over 2 makes it the perfect piece for class because it’s a big count and easy to see.
The fibers are also Week’s overdyed. To finish we will wrap the leaf with DMC’s Memory Thread and add a Memory Thread swirl!
Retreat Registration Form (PDF)
The hotel is conveniently located in Central New York at the intersection of Rt. 81 (north/south) and the NYS Thruway (east/west) and is minutes from both the Syracuse airport and the train station. We begin on Friday evening and continue until Sunday after lunch. Please join us for a fun filled escape!
